MCSS distributes Food Items -To ECD Centers Monrovia, Liberia - November 10, 2023: The Monrovia Consolidated School System (MCSS) has begun the distribution of assorted food items to its ECD Centers in Monrovia. The first phase of the MCSS food distribution to Liberian kids attending its school system is headed by Madam Felecia Nyemah, MCSS, ECD Coordinator. The MCSS Superintendent, Hon. Isaac Saye-Lakpoh Zawolo said the food distribution is part of President Weah's Pro Poor Agenda for Prosperity & Development (PAPD). He noted that the distribution of the assorted food items to kids across the school system is a continuation of President Weah’s vision for a prosperous Liberia. Superintendent Zawolo made these remarks on Friday, November 10, 2023, in an interview with the MCSS Public Relations department. Also speaking to the MCSS department of Public Relations and Media Services, MCSS, ECD Coordinator Madam Felecia Nyemah indicated that the distribution of the assorted food consignment is targeting only ECD Centers for a period of three months. She furthered that the second phase of the distribution will begin from February to April 2024. All ten MCSS ECD Centers were supplied bags of rice, oil, maggi cubes, spaghettis, bakingpowders, and sugar, among others. The schools are Monrovia Elementary Demonstration, C. William Brumskine, A. Glenn, Anna F. Whisnant, and CDB. King. Others are N.V. Massaquoi, Rebecca J. Wilson, Lorma Quarter, Moses K. Weefur, and Point Four elementary accordingly.
